midnight sun
I got these as freebees with the '95 Custom I bought. They don't look like Gibsons so I'm wondering if anyone here can help identifying them. Brass back with letters F and R stamped on them. I'm presuming they stand for front and rear. F have white lead and ground while R have red lead and ground. Not the braided metal insulation typical on Gibsons. These are with normal black plastic skins. They could be Epi's but I can't tell. I don't have an Epi's and I think "Epiphone" is usually stamped on the back as well. Anyone here have encounter these types of PU's? Thanks. nikko18
well i don't know for sure, but my epiphone from craigslist with a seymour duncan, and what i assumed was a stock epiphone PU. and it had no epi stamp on the back, so those might be something else. although there's a chance that the previous owner had replaced that one too. stymye
The only pickups I can recall with black cable are GT brand, you don't see that color often(that I'm aware of)
