An earlier thread had people posting a photo or two of where they live.

I live down the coast from Melbourne, Australia. It is not the end of the world, but you can see it from here!

Instead of posting a photo, I have made a little home video with some music by me on a Gibson acoustic!

how are you playing the guitar and holding the camera at the same time :-)

the coastline is very similar to the east antrim coast of northern ireland where i'm near except your sky is a funny blue colour as opposed to my nice grey one

what kinda gibson is that ? lovely sound for what you're riffing on . you have put me in the notion to open tune and get the slide out again

Wow man!

You play da blues in way I could wish to be able to play one day.

Blown away here [thumbup]

Thanks very much. I am getting there, but still think of myself as a learner! I keep plodding through the Stefan Grossman (and others) stuff and it has really helped.

WOW ! BK You are definitely way beyond a learner. You're a player. That sounds great ! I've heard a few LG-1's, but you bring out the best of it. By the way your coastal cliffs look like ours here on the Big Island of Hawaii. 'cept ours are all Lave Rock. Great tune and video, Thanks

Thanks.

The guitar was my 1952 Gibson LG1.

I didn't mean to make you feel tired, Rod!

No prob BK! I have recouped and on a whole 'nuther roll.....

Your tone and skills are "classic blues"!

Would you post a pic of the LG1...? I may have seen it previously but need a refresher. Is it mahogany top or no?
