raymeedc
Anybody see Pawn Shop on the History channel tonight? A close relative of Mary Ford brought in her '61 white Les Paul Custom, featured on many album covers & such, along with a slew of somewhat historically significant documents signed by Les. The pawn shop bought it for $90,000. I would have held onto it & put it up for auction myself. There's no telling what this would bring. Certainly a lot more than they paid for it, or they wouldn't have so readily done so.
Buxom
Ehh, I understand the connections and all, but it should have a final resting place. A museum would be nice.
dem00n
90k? Nah, it could go for a lot more at an auction. I'm really starting to believe that shows just a set up with actors. Edit: The corks are arguing about it. http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/vintage-sg/179047-pawn-stars-1961-gibson-les-paul-sg-3.html#post3449500 This is going to be a long one eh?
