pippy
All merely personal tastes, of course, but I'd have left it at "I'm really not a fan of those Zakk Wylde EMG les pauls". P.
pippy
Oh, I've no particular axe to grind (pun) with EMG's on anything. It's the, errm, designs that Mr Wylde seems to prefer which I don't fully appreciate. I'm an old Fuddy-Duddy, I'm afraid. Give me a nice 'burst; anything from VSB; a Lemon-drop or anything in between; a G-T or a Black Beauty and I'm in 'Pig-In-Sh!t' land. Graphics, cartoons and doodles look better on paper, IMHO. P. Buxom
Never really been a fan of EMGs. I don't see the hype, plus I'd have to make a route for the battery hatch. Not to mention, they're also eyesores.

krock
I dont mind EMG's too much but I prefer to play the Hz ones because they're passive. That les looks cool, its messing with my mind. Maybe Gibson could sell these as an alternative to drugs
pippy
....this little design has a 60's appeal to it. At least to me it does. All those circles in his other LP's just were not appealing at all; this design has a fresh look to it. At least to me it does... Sorry in advance if I'm teaching my granny to suck eggs but the design IS from the '60s - 1969 to be precise. It's the logo/record-centre label design of Vertigo records; a division of Phillips for the more 'hip' of their artists and, fittingly, one of the first acts signed to the new label was Black Sabbath...
