Deneor
Hello. How do you think, will there be a difference in the sound if I'll buy Gibson? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CN2qx7ko2I In this video I play on LeadStar with Line 6 POD XT Live. btoth76
Hello Denis! Sure! It will be even better! :) Seriously, it depends on the model within the Gibson range. Try out a few and hear it for Yourself - that's the only way...By the way: my very first guitar ever was a Musima Lead Star too. H-S-S pickup version and a Regent VM30 amp. Cheers... BobB
Thanks for posting. Great sounding song. A Les Paul would be able to cover that tune nicely using the same outboard gear he used(Line 6 POD XT Live) .
charlie brown
OR...you could try a Les Paul with coil taps, or a "Nighthawk" with 3 pickups (2 coil tapped, and 1 single coil, in the middle). Epiphone makes a nice one (Nighthawk Custom) as well. Or, just get a Telecaster... CB
Deneor
What Gibson is better? Old or new one?
Malchik
What Gibson is better? Old or new one? Whatever you can afford. You'll hear a lot of over-romanticizing when it comes to vintage guitars. If you find a nice used one, it's just as good as a new one. Really, any Gibson can sound great in the studio.
charlie brown
The 500,000-750,000 dollar '59, of course! Any Gibson, YOU like, is "the best one!" Try as many as you can find, and then decide. CB
spacealf
Depends on what style of music you may play or do play. Might want a Gibson SG although Derek Trucks uses a slide a lot because that is his style of playing. (or a firebird, but I think the SG would be better at least to me).
