Mark
AXE, I am impressed I would not attemt to spell that. But I was thinking the same thing. Why would they put up a file with no access. I don't see the point if this is a public forum. I think I am reading too much into this, I ordered a new guitar yesterday and I am a little balled up. ChanMan
I think Dark Fire is the most over rated, no talent, bum guitar player to ever draw breath. His licks are lame and he can't even play Dm. I know I am gonna get flamed for this.....

Ian Martin
Methinks it's the Moderator's lounge or Mike's layout-testing forum. ...or the pr0n dump.

ksdaddy
Dark Fire was the inspiration for a 1967 Doors hit. Seems Dark Fire was too dark for Jim Morrison so he wanted ...to... .....light.....it... (cough) Sorry.

GottaBeGibson
Guess we'll find out this weekend, only the video says December 15th: Dark Fire "The Gibson Dark Fire has arrived. And man, oh man, it changes everything. Never before has a guitarist had the ability to recreate any guitar sound ever made with one click. Never before has a guitar provided infinite tonal possibilities. Never before has cutting-edge technology been so accessible. This is the evolution of sound. This is the world’s most powerful guitar. Check back for full details this weekend."
Thundergod
What about the variax? Sorry... had to ask... because you know... there was so much hype behind the hex pickup system gibson launched a while ago... and then the robot... and once they were for sale the hype went out and nobody cared... Maybe it is a mix between the robot, the HX6 or whatever it was called, a roland style pickup system (MIDI) and the variax system (which in my opinion sucks big time). I truly hope this is a good thing and people learn to like it for what it is, and not compare it to the standard and the custom shop reissues. It could be a great thing for studio and live use... If it is what I think it will be, I'm sure I'll be getting one of those.
