From the Cork sniffers selling these overpriced guitars to the cork sniffers that god dint give the common sense of a billy goat buying these guitars that can't do any more than a LP Studio I've heard the same thing said about the Les Paul Custom. I worked at at a music store in the early 90s, the shop already had one of these, they couldn't give the thing away- the store owner was gonna' make a clock out of it, but then one day someone did come in and buy it, for $450.
