This_Dying_Soul Posted February 10, 2012 Author Share Posted February 10, 2012 I always loved the 90's Strat Plus/Ultra/Plus Deluxe and other variations on the Strat Plus model because of the Pearloid pickguards. At the time I couldn't afford one, now I just don't see them turn up on the used market very much (lots on ebay, but I don't buy guitars I can't try first). So, I decided to find a reasonably priced pearloid pickguard for my American Deluxe strat. Almost everything I saw was between $50 and $100 after paying shipping, which was rediculous.
