rocketman
What endings make you jump out of your seat? First one for me would be Limelight with Neil Peart going nuts at the end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwXjnVICb3I Second one for me is Won't Get Fooled Again (makes me want to do windmills): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHhrZgojY1Q

alexri
What endings make you jump out of your seat? First one for me would be Lighlight with Neil Peart going nuts at the end: I was going to say Limelight. So I guess now I'll say Black Napkins by Zappa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_c-NMnYhM3Q

cookieman15061
A day in the life. I remember as a kid listening with earphones, that felt like two garbage cans on either side of my head and I'd turn the volume knobs up slowly to see how long I could hear that final chord. saturn
Limelight was a good one. I probably would have said that too. All I can think of now is Jethro Tull "Aqualung" and Pink Floyd "Have a Cigar", the way it goes to mono before zapping out. Oh yeah, "War Pigs" too B)
JM2112
My favorite song endings are: Limelight: Rush, Moving Pictures Xanadu: Rush, Exit Stage Left (live album) Comfortably Numb: Pink Floyd, The Wall

charlie brown
Interesting idea...I'd never really thought about "favorite" endings, to a song. Favorite beginnings, yeah...but, not the endings so much. This would have to be one (not already mentioned), for both. (The most famous (opening) chord, in history, and that great "trail off," at the end!) CB

bonzoboy
Rabs got it right with Axis Bold As Love, the flanging and the panning from speaker to speaker-especially with headphones on-is phenominal.I also like the end of Are You Experienced and Foxy Lady,Love or Manic Depression and Love or Confusion also have cool endings. LarryUK
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VrqCBsbeuc&ob=av2e In case the young 'un's don't know. I'll add a Bowie song. The end of this is the perfect use of the pickup switch. One of the best endings ever. It still sends a shiver up my spine. Mick Ronson on 'that' Les Paul. When 'Buckethead' was just a toddler.
