Hi all,

Bought a new Epiphone Les Paul 1960 Tribute Plus last week. Was looking at Gibson LP's and this one found me. Factory-installed USA parts, wiring, switches (57 Classics-sooo sweeeet) and such a nice sound and look. I added a Gibson branded 5-ply black pickguard, nickel bracket and older style top hat knobs. This combination reminded me of my Dad's '67 ES-330 a bit. The slim 60s neck is very nice. The private-owned shop did a great low setup and put new DR Blues on. The burst is a bit more subtle gradient than the red stripe effect -photo limitation. Fit and finish is flawless. I may add an amber switch tip and nickel cord plate soon. I like it and am having fun!

HNGD! That's a nice looking flame...

Usually mixed colored plastic bugs me, but I like it here, congrats! msp_thumbup.gif

Thanks all. Yeah, I went back and forth on the mixed. I thought.. it's a pickguard... put a creme one on if it doesn't fly. But it really does have that retro look to me. Took a little carving to make it fit, but no biggie. Play on!
