Spitfire
The volume knob on my LP Standard is loose and spins freely on the post. What would you guys recommend to re-secure it? I am a little hesitant to hit it with superglue.
surfpup
If the problem is definitely the knob (plastic teeth broken or rounded off for example) you can just buy a new knob. If the knob is good, you can also spread the shaft of the pot with a small screwdriver, thus increasing the tension on the knob once it is placed back on the shaft (is this sounding kinda hot or am I just a dirty old man?) All this assumes that the pot itself that is not loose and that it's a slippage between the pot shaft and the knob that is the problem. If the pot itself is loose, just tighten the nut that holds in down.
Spitfire
Nice! I spread her out and now the shaft is tight against the sleeve. Thanks man, that's two beers I owe you.
