Bursts on back of neck.

Nice neckburst! Yours even has the back othe headstock done, too!

 

I think if the guitar is a burst, it oughtta be done on the neck, too. Classy!!! So nice! Makes it that much more fun to play, looking at the pretty rosewood in the front, and the pretty burst on the back. Too cool!

Here's one on my '75 LP.

On my 345 the brown of the sunburst covers the neck heal and feathers out about 4" inches up the neck. The rest of the neck and headstock are natural mahogany.

 

The '75 335 I used to have also had a nice sunburst on the back of the neck and headstock.

 

It seems to me that sunburst necks are way more prevalent on the maple neck Gibsons.

The fretboard is ebony with MOP block inlays.
