El Corazon
I'm in love Last week i bougt this strange animal, after looking after it at my lokal guitarshop. Its a 1981 ES335 with a Schaller tremolo system in gold with locking tuners and Seymore Duncan Pickups, one is a Jazz, but im not shure about the other. Im the proud owner of 2 Les Pauls, but i always new i would like to have a ES335. My band really licked the sound, and i have not let i down ekcept when working. So i thought lets see som other ES335 with a little twist

Mark
Hey EL, Whats on the truss rod cover?
El Corazon
Hey EL' date=' Whats on the truss rod cover?[/quote'] Its a schaller plate that spreads the strings and helps preventing the strings from locking in the nut when using the tremolo. JimmyJet
EC, thanks for posting that pic of your new babe -- I'm always keeping an eye out for non-invasive ways of installing a trem on a 335 and I'd not seen that Schaller Trem before -- looks like it utilizes the STP so you don't have to drill holes, my only concern would be where the bottom of the spring touches the body -- has it left marks on the body underneath the spring? thanks, jimmy
