martinh Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I've been having a lot of trouble in my new, smaller home studio with keeping everything in the cases. It seemed like a great idea at first, but moving half a dozen cases to get to the instrument I wanted got old very quick. Therefore, I put up the first two of what is probably going to have to be three rows of hangers . Space is a bit tight, but I'm starting to get used to the place
Riffster Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Wow, that is impressive the two rows of axes look pretty cool. I need to better my space layout, there is always a way.
Malchik Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Brave man, trusting cardboard. I hope you have at least drilled it onto studs.
krock Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Nice set up. Love the Ric. What are you doing to the black strat?
Bender 4 Life Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 killer setup you have, and great use of existing space! nice guitars/basses too! if all goes well i'll be building an 18'x 24'(possibly 20'x 28') studio this coming fall.
Rocky4 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 What's that contraption in the bottom of the second picture? I couldn't tell if it was a thingamajig, a fractometer, something from a dentists office, or an orgazmatron.
hellion102792 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Nice setup, Minimoog up on the shelf? I can dig it
martinh Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 Nice set up. Love the Ric. What are you doing to the black strat? That's an odd hybrid, Strat elite electronics on a floyd rose Strat body and neck. The two pickups that are "out" had wires broken where they entered the base of the pickup ( the elite pickups are "potted" so the wires emerge from a white plastic substance that was poured into the cover) I've got to dremel theis plastic stuff away to get at the wires. It's a tricky job, so Ive been putting it off .........

I couldn't tell if it was a thingamajig, a fractometer, something from a dentists office, or an orgazmatron. Nothing so interesting I'm afraid. Its a Yamaha Electronic drum Kit. I used to have a basement studio where I could use my old Ludwig kit, but, after moving to suburbia, she-who-must-by-obeyed indicated that playing acoustic drums upstairs was not going to work, so I got am electronic kit for christmas.
martinh Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 Looks like crap but I am willing to help you; I will PM you my address so you can send those guitars to me. Your lucky I'm willing to help....... lol I appreciate your generous offer of assistance. You're a real mate. However, I think it's my moral duty to shoulder this burden alone . . . .
Guest rogerb Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Nice collection and impressive display!
