bandjo97 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Hi there, I'm not sure I'm in the right forum, so let me know if I'm not... It would appear that my son wants the only guitar that I can't find in the U.S. (sigh). Apparently it's available in the UK and Canada, but we can't find the Epiphone: Les Paul Junior - Trans Blue here in the states. Where can I find information on this? I've tried calling Customer Support and was simply told to wait a couple of weeks.... (a couple of weeks ago). Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks so much!
btoth76 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Hello! Found one in Canada: http://www.long-mcquade.com/products/14833/Guitars/Electric/Epiphone/Les_Paul_Jr_-_Transparent_Blue.htm. The most of the shops offering it are in UK. Cheers... Bence
bandjo97 Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 ever heard of google? oh yeah... isn't it that new fangled thing called a "search engine".... hmmm..... maybe that will work... ...NOT... if I found my answer there, I wouldn't have posted here where I thought somebody would be helpful. ...whatever....
Danner Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Musicians Friend shows it to be available to ship by 3/18. My link
Eracer_Team Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 well for $119 at Sam Ash Epip LP Jr in White I would think you could buy him this and give him a blue spray can. its only $119. or pony up a few more bucks (okay $699) and buy him Gibson LP Jr in Pelham Blue or for $499 a Epiphone LP in Trans Blue or call L&M Canada and see if you can talk them into sending you a $155cdn guitar back to the USA but shipping will kill you.. Canada sucks for shipping fees. Best bet is have a friend that lives near the border to drive over and get one.. but at more that $3.50 per gallon..
rd_artist Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 the Jr in trans blue looks cool. you may ask if Long&McQuade will ship to the US.
bandjo97 Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 Danner, Eracer & RD, Thanks so much for your suggestions... I'm going to pass on the spray paint idea, but appreciate your input. :) I'll check out the links and hopefully find it somewhere. We have one friend in Washington that we may hit up to purchase the guitar in Canada, but it's a last resort, it's a 100 mile drive for them. This is what happens when you promise your kid that if he gets straight A's he can pick out any guitar he wants... AND, he didn't just bring home straight A's, they were A+, so we're kinda committed to this particular guitar. Thanks again for the info.. the Jr in trans blue looks cool. you may ask if Long&McQuade will ship to the US.
