jaxson50 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clnozSXyF4k&feature=share I doubt it. The green screen back ground gives it away as a produced piece.
Lungimsam Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I can imagine one day when they can just use computer generated actors. Then there will be no more actors. I can see it now Bobby Deniro from Raging Bull days (looks-wise) as the main character in a motion picture release in the year 2075. Looks like Napster all over again, but the movie industry this time.
pippy Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Quite amazing! Very interesting to see just how much can be CG'd. P.
upsidedown club Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 thnxs wait.............now I have to wonder if I am still in the backseat of that car...having that want to wake up feeling ... nice post[biggrin]
Thundergod Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Puts reality into a different perspective. :D Thanks for sharing Dave, cool video. I loved the part with the burning ship, it's amazing what they can do now with computers.
pfox14 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Pretty cool to see how all thopse "green screen" effects are done, especially with different locations that aren't really there
krock Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Wow, ive never really given special effects any thought. That was a really cool vid. Thanks for posting it
Vega1 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 That's really cool, I would never have guessed some of those were green screens or CGI.
FredD Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I really enjoyed that; its amazing what they can do in movies now. Whats even more amazing is even those not connected with studios can now work with green screens; especially amateurs and those who have it as a hobby. I often cruise youtube and check out amateur or students. I really enjoyed the music to the clip, any idea who was playing that? Is it just a studio trak? The tune was really cool. We also use blue screens, as well as green and blue paint. It's a lot of fun ! I personally do stopframe animation of clay puppets on an 8 feet by 10 feet wooden 'stage', and composite that with live action or CG stage sets / backgrounds (which I produce useing Maya software). It is very time consuming, but great fun and very rewarding !! My other hobby...

I for one detest the idea of replacing all human interacton. But then I grew up before cell phones, tweets and FB. When kids were still allowed to walk barefoot in mud and we enjoyed life.
RaysEpiphone Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 When your going to (end product) real film, witch is grainy and not very sharp when compared to a High Quality video it's not hard at all to make most anything look real with some CG. Very cool stuff indeed!
