qwkslvr
Hello everyone...I recently purchased a brand new Gibson BFG Gator, and I absolutely love it. I would however like to look into dressing it up just a little. I have been looking all over for P-90 covers, but I am not sure which ones will fit and what the install process would be like. I would also like to get a protective/decorative straddle for the bustbuckers on the bridge. If anyone has any info or experience, any help would be greatly appreciated. AlanH
I can't answer your question but I think that that Gator looks very nice just as it is with uncovered pups. The only thing I'd change on it are the knobs and the rear pot cavity guard.
RUSHian
I have the Gary Moore BFG (love mine too!), and it has the P90 covered. I Think Sweetwater may have real Gibson P90 covers and Vol/Tone knobs. Or you can google it.
qwkslvr
I think it looks great too, but I think it would look even better with the pickups "finished". I have seen the P90 covers but Im not sure about the fit or the install process. If anyone has any experience, it would be great.to.hear.

thejay
I had a BFG that I added a pickup ring to protect the bb#3 in the bridge; installed just fine. A regularly Gibson pickup ring, held the pickup, dressed it up and protected it.
