I remember a guy named "Guest" but not sure if it's that guy. I like how all his posts have negative 1 Replies. :-k Back in the old forum, whenever someone was in the Lounge, or maybe even before the Lounge, when someone was lurking but not signed in, they would show at the bottom as "Guest". We used to joke that someone should make an account called Guest and I guess someone did. Did you notice that he also has 2 posts on the second to last page?

Flight959 has the honor of the oldest REAL post B)

I think the negative 1 replies are hilarious and I'm glad you caught that too.

I remember the Guest posts.

Once I posted that Guest was following me everywhere I went.

It didn't matter which part of the Gibson Guitar Board I went to, Guest was there.

What's Flight's oldest real post? Now I'm curious :-k

Guest farnsbarns

See, now everything got shuffled because someone went back and resurrected Flight959's thread. It's title is "Great idea" or Good Idea"....

G u e s t was, in fact, an alias of Thermion!k.

I miss his input here. He really knows his stuff. He's been to gigs by pretty much a "Who's Who" of rock/blues from Hendrix, Led Zep when they were still The New Yardbirds (!) and so on and on....

He was also a mate, when they were both still in their teens, of Gary Moore (they were near neighbours) and a bit later, through Gary, met Peter Green. And if all that wasn't enough he also got to try out THAT Les Paul.

Sadly missed hereabouts IMHO.

A valuable X-member of the Lounge no doubt.
