What's the Frontman Playing?

I couldn't focus on it too good because the old eyes aren't as good as they used to be but judging from the body shape it looks like it could be either a Hamer from the mid to late 70s or early 80s or an Electra that was imported by St. Louis Music Supply during the same time period. As I said I couldn't get a real good look but the body shape is very similar to these models.

Went full screen, does look like it says Gibson on the truss rod cover. Sort of an F style headstock, but not like a Firebird. Single F hole on upper bout, asymmetrical double cutaway, 2 Humbuckers, two pots and a toggle on the upper bout. Hmm...

Ah, there you go. Looks like you nailed it. And I missed the F hole on the bottom. Also think the one in the ad may have had solid block inlays, then again, maybe not. But this certainly is the guitar. Well done!
