Buxom Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Not sure why I'm sharing this, but some family is in the process of moving up to Vermont, and they aren't able to ship these items, due to their immense weight. Lovely couch and TV, $600 for the pair. I most of the moving and all of the hook up. Quite the mess of wires ;-;
sneakerpimp Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 meh, i was expecting a 13" B&W special with knobs... nice couch tho.
Buxom Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 It's insanely comfortable. It also has a built in recliner on the end without the chase.
krock Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Dont forget to include more infor on the TV. You know fenderguy1 loves them
Buxom Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 It's a Samsung. Built in surround sound too. Very nice when put on custom settings. Watching season 1 of The Walking Dead now.
Buxom Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 Fender guy hates those TV's since they are not old and you did not find them in a trash bin.... The couch looks very inviting. I purchased myself a new couch and lazyboy after Katrina ruined my old set and OMG it was so worth the cash I spent on both. Basically its a LP Standard plus some additional change for the two and its soft leather and once you sit in them you cant get out of the seat.... We have a LAZ-Boy (or whatever it is) but it's about 20 years old. The TV is superb, the couch is amazing, my living room will be complete by next weekend hopefully. My great grandfather has an end table that he doesn't need anymore, and it will go right next to the recliner.
Buxom Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 sweet... Yeah I love my Lazyboy its about 6 years now, and was over a grand and more than worth the cost to me since it reclines to a almost hortz position. In the half way position it allows my legs to be elevated just like my doc ordered.... The one we have has weird fabric too. It's like corduroy almost. and it's so worn out that it goes pretty much beyond horizontal. I've fallen backwards a couple times. It doesn't have any holes in it either, which I'm surprised about, considering the beating it took during the VA earthquack that happened this summer. Basically, I was sleeping in it when it happened. I was so scared, that I jumped out of it, picked it up, threw it out of my way, and ran the **** out of my house.
Buxom Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 snap I would have frigging freaked out for sure. I was at Travis and they had a earthquake near SF and it was felt at Travis. Very slight and the news made a little point to mention it just before cooking tips because those who live in Calif are so used to earth moving. I swore then never to get stationed in Calif no more. I have visited on business trips for GE setting up networks for clients and left as soon as job complete. Again you can run away from hurricanes; where do ya go with earthquakes if your not flying? I was also terrified, because the first thing I saw when I woke up was the halfstack my neighbor had given me, gently gliding across the living room floor (I was still clearing space in my bedroom for it at the time)
Buxom Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 Yup time to move Not sure what you mean, but all I know is that earthquakes are one of the worst alarm clocks out there.
Buxom Posted March 5, 2012 Author Posted March 5, 2012 Look at your statements, first amp sliding across the floor and then worst alarm clock. What part of its time to move don't you understand? You mean like move out of the house I'm in? I wouldn't want to. I guess that's why I didn't get it <_<
