GotTheSilver Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 I've looked at this model online (never seen one in person) and am at a bit of a loss as to what makes it unique, other than the tri-color burst finish. What makes it different from other versions of the J-45?

What makes it different from other versions of the J-45? I believe it's a 'Perfectly Good Guitar'.

guitom Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 I have one. It has the different sunburst, multi-ring rosette, cream colored tuners, advanced X bracing, Fishman Ellipse Blend pickup and modified V neck profile. It feels a little looser (but that may just be set up, strings, etc) than a standard J-45. It is louder and has a little more brightness than a standard model, in a good way. I was really most interested in the v-neck. It does feel slightly more chunky, but had I not known there was a difference I probably wouldn't have noticed it right away. I really wish it would have had a better case, like the TV case, but otherwise I'm happy.
