ajay Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 I bought an all mahogany1968 Kalamazoo KG-10. It reminds me a lot of my Brother's B-25N, only it has a hog top. It is exactly the same guitar as a gibson B-15 I have a set of Medium (13's) Dean Markley Alchemy strings that I thought about trying on my Kalamazoo. Are 13's too heavy for this guitar? ajay Posted March 14, 2012 Author Share Posted March 14, 2012 I put the Dean Markley Alchemy13's on the little hog and it brought the volume way up. Really getting nice tone out of one of Gibson's cheapest acoustics. With these strings I am in love with this guitar. My AJ is on vacation for a while with the tone I'm getting out of my beater.
