Fungus
I'd have to say it takes having blues in your soul to be able to put soul into your blues.....
upsidedown club
consequences (or mercy) I didn't mean to do this, but it turned to something wrong And I dont believe you saying You've meant me no harm You didn't have to lock cruel bands on my hands Those never ending consequences Heavy-Lasting consequences Who said I had to carry them forever? Who meant that I should carry them forever? I've done a bunch of good things they don't add up too much I hope the sun will shine again and soon.please soon Why won't you break the chains from off my feet? those never ending consequences heavy hurting consequences who said I had to carry them forever? Who meant that I should carry them forever? I know you didn't mean to do this but it turned to something wrong and you wont believe me saying that I mean you no harm while I dim the light within your heart to love those Never ending consequences Heavy-Hating consequences Who said you had to carry them forever? Did I mean for you to carry them forever?
Rich W
A big part of blues music, for me, is the singing. In my book, this is what separates the greats from the pretenders. There are so many guitar virtuosos in blues rock who are so-so singers and, to me at least, that's why they'll never hold a candle to blues guys with the great pipes like Muddy and BB. So, yes, I like soul in my blues music. I don't particularly need blues in my soul music ... Sam Cooke, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, et al. were not hard-core bluesman; but their music will stand forever.

RaysEpiphone
I like most all Blues but there's a lot of Soul music that don't do it for me. Some of James Brown's music is good, real good but guy's like Stevie Wounder I can listen to all day.
