ritchie69
This was my Firebird, it was a 2007...mine was not exciting to play, so I sold it last year...but yesterday, while I was buying my new DIF, I played a just arrived Firebird, and the sound impressed me so much, with a lot of volume, I guess how the sound will open up...totally different Firebird compared to mine... JuanCarlosVejar
Man I am so very tempted to go buy that Firebird from Southpaw Guitars! It is an outstanding instrument! Yes it is long scale, not my preferred player, but now that I have two short scale guitars it would not be my one-and-only main guitar. Got the cash......and the time.....oh my...... (...bit of rationalization going on there, huh.) Hey Buc , Buy it I'm sure you will enjoy that one ... and if you need to sell it you can always inform the lefties here on the forum . If I were in for a Dread I'd buy it but I think you should take the plunge :) . Otherwise Bob R could snatch if for his friend (joke) . btw I I was pondering getting that Western Classic Prewar and then cash it in to buy a pair of Roy Smecks in lefty from the custom shop . but Bob was quicker . Anyway I say go for the Firebird !!! JC
