I think it's too big, and what, turquiose? Doesn't work for me. I actually prefer them on their cheaper acoustics, the DX-1 or whatever they are. MissouriPicker Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Both sound real good. I think that particular J45 has just a bit more bottom than the D18. The Martin sounded a little bit brighter to my ears. That said, I could live with either (preferabbly both)of these guitars.....What I think was pretty good was how there was no pause between playing the Martin and Gibson.
