warwick guitar stands

Does anyone have the model guitar stand and have used it with Gibson with nitrocelluose finish on for a good amount of time,and if so has it damaged your finish at all or is it safe for nitro finishes?

You can pretty much use any stand with a Gibby, as long as you put a cotton cloth wherever it makes contact with the guitar (I taped a sock around the part where the neck rests, and wrapped a Hanes undershirt around the bottom). I own the stand that you're looking at and by doing that I haven't had any problems with the finish.

I see on the box at the store it says safe for all finishes.

Ah, alright I'll keep that in mind. I got the stand long before I got my SG so I never thought to check the box for that.

This is a Warwick rock stand, I don't use any cloth and the finish looks allright.
