P. McCartney loves his EPI

That was really great. I'd really like to see the whole show. It looks like Klaus was on a mission to revisit and thank many of the people who played such an important role in his life, before time ran out. What a wonderful impulse. It's a gift to have that opportunity.

I'd LOVE to see a McCartney Casino issued. Epiphone has come close, with the 50th anniversary model. I hope they put the right kit together and issue one soon, in Elitist form.

Nice.. thanks. For those wondering about more video, there are mentions of a video and a DVD which may contain more recorded footage of the making of those Voormann albums (named at the bottom of Klaus' Wikipedia page.

They always have so much FUN, recording and just "hanging out," together. It's like

a breath of pure Oxygen, to see that, when we're all bombarded with such negative

imagery, and event coverage, these days. A great reminder, that it doesn't have to be

like that. [thumbup][biggrin]

What would I pay for a day with Paul in his Studio................just jammin, talking looking back in the good old days.

The studio in the video seems to be in Netherlands, where I believe Klaus has been living or still lives. But I´m not sure.

Last Easter I was at George Harrisons house in Henley on Thames.

I really would liked to have a look into his studio....I was so close to it!

That's Mill Studio, on McCartney's estate in Sussex, England.

Three years ago I bought a '65 John Lennon Casino,a John Lennon EJ-160-E and a natural Casino so that even though I didn't have the bucks at the time to buy a Revolution Casino too at least I'd have one that looked somewhat like it.Anyway one day shortly after I bought them i was sitting alone in the living room with my "John" guitars playing his songs when I got overcome with something that I can't really explain except for it was deep emotions. I took it upon myself to write Yoko Ono and tell her how much John meant to me and how much he affected and influenced my life and how it was because of him that I decided to become a musician.Anyway I wrote some other deeply personal things and really poured my heart out to her about my feelings for John.I posted the letter thinking no more of it and frankly having doubts that she's ever recieve it.One day about 6 weeks later I got a letter from Studio One in New York City,I thought that it was maybe the parent company of some music dealer I had been in contact with. When I opened the letter there was a reply from Yoko saying how touched she was by my letter and how much she appreciated my devotion to John after all these years. She also sent me a picture of John and her at the Montreal Bed In For Peace and had written To Derek Love Yoko. Her PA wrote a note explaining that the letter was late coming as Yoko had been out of the country and absolutely insisted on answering all her correspondence herself. That picture along with my John Lennon guitars is my most cherished possession. It also changed a lot of what I thought of Yoko because for her to take the time out of her busy schedule and send correspondence to someone who was just another fan shows that she really has a big heart and is a very caring and conscientious person.

I think I've watched this thing at least a half dozen times now (for various reasons), and have come to a couple of conclusions. Sir Paul has got himself one pretty sweet "home studio" and I really, really, like that song LOL!!! [biggrin] And was Ringo just cool, or what? [thumbup]

I wrote to Yoko as well . It was a few days after John was shot. I didn´t get an answer and I didn´t expect to get one. She had other problems than to answer thousands of letters in that time.

You lucky one.

I still can´t believe that someone killed that man of peace and love!! The bad people still live on and nobody kills them.

I have the same feeling to George who always was MY Beatle and my idol and guitarist.
