BRIANTHELION
I just picked up an ES355 custom shop. Serial number 792088 on rear of headstock and number B98106 on label inside stating Nashville made. Should I be worried numbers don’t match? Anyone able to provide anymore info? The link I’ve seen on here to Gibson.com doesn’t load so don’t bother posting that. Thanks in advance.
Steve Robbins
Hi all, Drummer here, so I have no idea how to read the serial on a guitar. 1st number is the year, 4 digits at the end are model, and manufacturer location. However I can't seem to figure ND anything in the arena of this serial. Everything I see online is not exactly what I'm seeing on the guitar I currently was given by a family member who passed away. Can anyone decide this? serial #356592 Thanks! Steve
Jeetkunow
I have a Gibson Custom Shop Flying V CS81008. Would that mean my guitar is a Custom Shop year made 2008 and was 1008th guitar made of that batch?
