As everyone knows times are tuff, so I found myself having to part with one of my Vintage LP's. I have a 77 Standard in Natural finish that is in really great condition, and I have a 74 Standard in wine red that had a neck break that BF Greg fixed AWSOMELY!!!! I'm trying to figure out which one to let go of. As far as playing, they are both really special. I pick up one and play it and say I'll keep it and then pick up the other and play and get befuddles. Damn these old Gibbys and the way they make u fall for them! I'm figuring about 2300 for the 77 and about 1400 for the 74. HELP!!! Which one should I keep???? glp2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Share Posted March 14, 2012 From a purely economic standpoint, sell the one for $2,300...that way you have more cash on hand. Then invest 10% in an infrastructure stock and put another 10% in the bank. Afterwards, buy yourself a nice steak dinner so you at least feel good about your loss. Hope this works out for you...
