Cool, but I can't see some of those things happening, like using another makers tuners. I expect they will do 158 58's, 159 59's and 160 60's. That would be in keeping with the 157 57's that they made. I already have a deposit in for a 50th anniversary R8 flame top. Hopefully they (my shop) can pull off what I want.

I'd be happy with a P90 equipped Standard:d/

For what it's worth, I'd like to see the return of the solid body Les Paul. There is a place for weight relieved models, but these in my opinion should be noted as different models, not as Standards.

The other issue that has puzzled me in the neck tenon length. Does it really make a difference? and if so, why only have it on Historics? Yes, I understand the marketing aspect but on the other side of that coin, it somewhat "cheapens" standard range. After all, any Gibson USA modeln is meant to be high end isn't it?

Anyway, if the people at Gibson are trolling these pages, PLEASE release (even in a limited run) a P90 equipped Les Paul, true solid body, AA or AAA top, fat 50's neck in a Lemonburst, Butterscotch or transparent black finish.

I WILL buy one if released. Guaranteed!!!

PS, Thanks for the new forum, I can actually log into this one.

PPS, How about a Les Paul Of The Month program for special releases
