Virtues of Broadway from Peerless factory?

I have a '98 in rare Ebony finish (rare for that model anyway) and I love it. That is a great era for Epi's, the mid to late 90's, with an R at the beginning of the serial. I have such a Casino ('97 TQ) and Riviera ('96 TQ) both with vibrotone and I really enjoy them. I used to have a Broadway in the late 90's in natural finish and i remember it being good too. I am not familiar with newer Broadways, but I've messed with some recent Epi's and I wasn't over the moon for them like the late 90's ones.

In my opinion, the Peerless Broadways are the best of the non-Elitist ones. To start with, the F-holes are a more symmetrical and pleasing shape than the ones from Saein (and the newer Chinese ones). The finishes were excellent, and the natural ones used wood that appeared to be higher quality and better cured. Some of the newer ones have a greenish tint to the wood. The fretboard inlays were more consistently well-fitted, and at least with the ones I've played, the Peerless ones were more resonant and "alive" acoustically, and the binding work was also more consistently high-quality.

I've seen Peerless-made Broadways going back to 1994, and as recent as 2002, but there may be both older and more recent ones out there.
