zombywoof
I wonder if someone could invent a GAS mask to help us with this problem. Â Â While it don't make it go away not having one guitar you are willing to part with to finance another really helps put the brakes on.

E-minor7
"I'm close to asking why you didn't choose a 45 Custom. That would bring the hog - maple - rose triangle home". Said the man who lacked maple, and then continued. "Do you as a former Firebird owner know the inner differences between the F-bird and the contemporary/90's Doves ?" -
Motherofpearl
I plan to upgrade the j45 eventually I would love the custom or a paisley. I do love maple that's why I got the jumbo! The fire bird was by far the best sounding guitar I've played but it was long scale and I could really feel it for some reason I know that the sj is also long scale but it doesn't feel long scale to me not sure why?? Anyways I have never laid hands on a dove so I can't comment but I can say this if you don't mind a long scale guitar I highly recommend the firebird I'm short so didn't work for me! Have you ever played a paisley j45? Not sure why I just love the look of it?
E-minor7
Have you ever played a paisley j45? Never played the Paisley, but would like to though I prefer paisley on my shirts and ties – (are you listening Nick). The 2 Firebirds I tried were impressive and won't leave my mind. They were among the richest acoustics I ever played – certainly when talking maple.  3 issues remain -  The bling – there's a storm of flames over those guitars.  The pale top (yes I know the first were darker).  And the price – although they might be worth it.  "Do you as a former Firebird owner know the inner differences between the F-bird and the contemporary/90's Doves ?" -  I ask because I can't figure the difference between the F-bird and the modern scalloped Doves. Maybe the latter has heavier braces. . .
