jannusguy2
Be careful whatever you use does not contain silicone.
EuroAussie
Just live with the scratches, its all part of the Mojo. If you manage to hide these new ones will just appear soon enough. I love the scratches on my SJ, it just gives it an even more vintage look on top of the 51' reissue detailing it already has.

onewilyfool
I use Novus 1 http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=
Aster1
I use Novus 2 (red label rubbing compound) and buff the scratch. Then follow up with McGuire's ScratchX for cars. Works for me, even on Ric's Conversion Varnish. Will work on Nitro or Poly. If you're really good & have a big buffer wheel that works great. Very carefully however. Wrong hands and technique and you've got one quick burn to the wood. Make sure you use a very clean/soft cotton or expensive Microfiber cloth however. If you don't you'll scratch it even more.
