Californiaman
I keep giving a '95 Blackie Washburn Strat to my daughter, and she keeps giving it back. Maybe you should paint it pink and then try giving it to her again.
DanvillRob
I'm surprised about the Ovation 12. A lady friend of mine had one that almost could play itself. m I'm taking it to my guitar guy....if he can't fix it, he can keep it.
WahKeen
I already have all the ones I will keep (Gibsons). I'm looking to trade or sell my Strat and not sure what I want as a replacement. Then I shall be done. I've sold two GLP Studios and a Schecter hellraiser with Floyd Rose. Hmmm, decisions, decisions....
pippy
No excuses required for posting that snap, Pip, she's gorgeous! Sounds like true love. Thanks very much, Cruz. It's a shame you didn't fully bond with your stunning Benavente but at least it's still in the family. And I think I forgot to tell you how happy I am to see you 'round again! Your views were much missed. P.
Cruznolfart
Thanks very much, Cruz. It's a shame you didn't fully bond with your stunning Benavente but at least it's still in the family. Thanks for the very kind welcome, Pip, it's very nice to be back and to see you and so many of the "old" nicks still here. Y'know, I tried in every way to wring some true passion out of that axe. There wasn't one thing about it that wasn't built to my exact request. I changed the pups, tried several different gauge strings, a buncha different amps, but it all came down to how it felt in my hands. And it never felt like it broke in to me; never got comfortable and familiar. Perhaps my Son or one of his boys will find the comfort zone. Time will tell.
