Buxom
Maybe it's just a coincidence that they folded up like that. I hear handling a case in a rough way can do that
Morkolo
I was lazy once and left them long until I forgot about them and almost drove the string end into my eye. They get clipped off as soon as possible now.
Dub-T-123
Maybe it's just a coincidence that they folded up like that. I hear handling a case in a rough way can do that I always keep a pair of needle nose pliers and a ghost in my case. You never know what you'll end up with. Rich W
I always cut my strings as soon as I tune it up. Me too ... I don't understand the appeal of unclipped strings. Maybe it's a throw back to the days when strings were harder to get, and people wanted to conserve as much of the string as possible?
Jeff-7
Dub only has one arm so clipping the strings gets rather difficult.

SlashPerryBurst
PhilX did that with one of his guitars. I was lazy once and left them long until I forgot about them and almost drove the string end into my eye. They get clipped off as soon as possible now. I have actually poked myself in the eye with the string end. Also, I had a Gretsch at one point and one of the string ends put a big scratch on the headstock face. They've been getting clipped as soon as they go on since then.

RaysEpiphone
I too have stabbed myself accidentally a few time's with string ends and I always trim them as soon as I make sure I have strung the right string on the right peg.

buliwyf
What could feel better than an unclipped high E string getting rammed deep under my finger nail, usually on my little finger.Oh yea I clip them, plus it looks neater.

WahKeen
Not having your string ends clipped is like not having your nose hairs clipped or groomed. Some guys don't care, but that's why I carry tweezers with me so I can pull them from their nose. They don't like me doing that, but I quickly tell them, "groom those things then!". I roll like that...
