Since I could not predict how all the components would work together I really couldn't say about woods or anything. But it would have a V neck with a 1 7/8 nut and the old style rectangular bridge. Also it would be 12 frets to the body with white or gold script logo. I do like the ebony boards.

I like the sound of that, nice set of features with one caveat, I'd have to have the southern jumbo/wood guthrie style inlays on the board.

I'd go for an AN AJ with Quilted Maple back'n'sides, Mahogany neck (long scale), Ebony fretboard (bound), Evo frets, Waverlys, bound headstock, Ebony captive-saddle bridge (like the Scruggs AJ) and a Fishman Matrix Infinity installed.

I'd also have it in a top-drawer Calton case so I could fly with it without breaking a sweat.

I'd very much like to own one of those. Anyone want to buy a kidney?

Everybody should have one mahogany Gibson and one rosewood Martin.

It's the natural order of things.

The only change I'd make to that statement would be to add "at least" after "Everybody should have...".

I'd go for a L-00 with a red spruce top and mahogany back & sides

Got one, and I love it. It's almost the only thing getting paying time right now (although I have to give my old J-45 at least 15 minutes a day, or she gets jealous).
