Mojorule
Talented family that goes way back to The original Carter Family Maybelle scratches and rocks! My favourite version of this song, Paul. Thanks for the reminder. Love the old blarney in JC's original video about that nonsensical version of the first verse being old-timey. It's well known that the Carter Family version includes a lot of misheard lines that were handed down over the years. The original 1860 lyrics by Maud Irving are still in existence, and they are not the same. They also make more sense, despite referring to a non-existent flower.
