E-minor7
Highly interesting Gibson. Good find - gotta look further into that. I made an experiment a few years back. Switched the B and G string and re-tuned. Opened up some inspiring landscapes.
pfox14
Very interesting guitar. I bet that took some time for Bozeman to make. He mentions "several" prototypes were made before ending up with the finished guitar shown in the video. Wonder what songs he plays with it. j45nick
hugh strung J 45ish model at 2:07 : JC The only thing "J-45-ish" about it is the 'burst, unless you want to talk about 1970's J-45's: which I'd rather not.......
Mojorule
It's basically an SWD though, isn't it? All very interesting and quite good sounding, but I can't help but imagine Nigel Tufnell with that little red twelve-string thing with the 'mando-like feel to it'. Hey the strings go all the way up to 12. And then the isocab. Just switch the down-to-earth guitar tech for a crazy Lord-***-former-SNL-comedian, and it all becomes a bit Spinal Tap. Nick , I was actually thinking about the burst more than the body style lol . I think it looks more like a SWD as someone else said. my bad !!! Spot
Gotta love Dave.... Many people here in the UK have never really heard of him!! Really?? That's news to me... I personally wouldn't say that two Sold out nights back to back at the Brixton Academy in 2009 means that he's unheard of in the UK. Didn't he also recently play Hyde Park at that London Calling bolocks? Here's a shot of his Gibson....Lovely looking guitar designed by Ren...
