First atttempt at Youtube vids

Thought I'd give YouTube a shot. I had some problems with playback speeds but it seems to be resolved.

Nothing impressive or extraordinary, just enjoying my Gibson.

Here's the stuff

BFG Limited (bullion burst)

Blackheart Little Giant half stack

Marshall Jackhammer distortion

The videos came out a bit bass heavy but that probably has much to do with being recorded with my webcams built in mic. Ah well, pretty fun anyhow.

Pretty cool. I assume the Jackhammer is on during this clip. I was thing about a Blackheart and was wondering what the dirty sound straight from the amp was like.

BTW, here's one we did recently (right before the band split up). Kind of a cheesy song, but oh well...

The other guitar player is playing a Studio with ebony board, and stock 490R/498T pickups plugged into a Laney 100 watt tube combo. I'm using a Classic with Peter Florence pickups plugged into a Traynor YCV-40. For the solo, I used a Fulltone FatBoost for volume boost only.

Great video GJ!! Thanks for sharing that.

Yeah the videos i have posted are all with the Jackhammer on. I haven't had much luck getting good dirty tones straight from the amp. Maybe it's just me or my settings or who knows... Could just be a lack of experience with tube amps in general. I have seen some great youtube vids of guys getting nice bluesy/classic dirt from these amps, I just can't seem to get it together. I haven't given up though.

There are some other guys here with blackhearts and vids using them though.

Again, cool vid
