truetone6 Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I love Nick Drakes Music, haunting stuff. When I was at college around 1973 or 1974 I bought 2 of his albums: Bryer Layter and Five Leaves Left. Both were english import LPs that I bought from Tommy Hilfiger at his boutique/headshop/record store "Peoples Place" in Elmira New York.
LarryUK Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I've said for ages that the moon looks closer than it used to. Any thoughts?

surfpup Posted April 8, 2012 Author Posted April 8, 2012 I love Nick Drakes Music, haunting stuff. When I was at college around 1973 or 1974 I bought 2 of his albums: Bryer Layter and Five Leaves Left. Those first two albums are really good, but I also really love the starker, guitar and voice only, Pink Moon album. Reportedly though he was losing touch with reality by then and never released anything else. Very sad that such a talent couldn't stick around to share more music with us. I love to listen to Nick Drake on lazy weekend mornings and I always think of him when there is a pink moon. Here's the whole Pink Moon album. Give a listen tomorrow morning whilst enjoying a warm cup of coffee or tea and you'll see what I mean... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ-uLV2pPD4
