ParlourMan Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Decided to have a bit of a touch & feel on the Keb Mo tonight.... I'm trying to suss out a new tune for us to do, a cover of Love is All by The Tallest Man on Earth. Anyway, the picking is a bit rough as I've just learned the song tonight but I thought I'd post it anyway. Recorded on iPhone so audio is a bit compromised. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IF3RWTKu7I
flatbaroque Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 very nice....slight "don't think twice" feel to the arrangement...and you are in maximum high capo location for a 12 fretter
retrorod Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Very Nice, PM... I think the audio quality is good and only compressed from the 'lack of string length' with which you have to play...
duluthdan Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Ahhh... very nice - wish I had yoursense of timing - and that little 12 fretter sounds good way up there. Strings?
ParlourMan Posted April 8, 2012 Author Posted April 8, 2012 Cheers for the comments. The strings are plain old Gibson Masterbuilt ones which have been on for a couple of months already. The 'Dont think twice" feel to it is kind of what drew me in to the tune initially. Thanks for taking a look.
pfox14 Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Nice bright little tune. Honestly, I think the capo up that high really "chokes" the guitar's tone, but just MHO
zombywoof Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 That is a neat little tune (I have never heard it before) and some great picking.
