RUSHian
I've had the Buckethead Studio Les Paul now for 3 weeks. I like the larger size body, 24 frets, and larger scale neck 27". Now there is a buzzing on the low A and E strings fretted at the 17th fret. I'm not sure the change in weather effected the guitar, but it seems 'off' to me and I have to fight to play it now (bending has become difficult). I can still send it back with the 30 day warrantee, or it can change the strings (maybe to 009s) and have it set up. It is a unique Les Paul with its features. If I keep it, I would loose the lower kill switch and replace it with another tone knob. Time is ticking and I don't want to be stuck with this guitar if there is a major neck issue. Thanks! btoth76
Hello! Effects of weather change. Set it up and it shall be fine. I take my guitars to a luthier every half a year. Cheers... Bence
pfox14
Have you checked the string height? Sounds like only a slight adjustment is need to make it right.
AlanH
It has unique features for sure but, even if you do alter the set up, if you tire of the guitar later you may find it difficult to sell for a worthy price. If you have no love for the guitar I would take it back. If you want to shred on 24 frets get something like an Ibanez.
lespauljr
sounds like you just need a proper set up. if you get a shop to do this they will tell you if there are any major problems with the neck too
RUSHian
Showed the BH LP to a guitar tech- said many frets not properly seated, neck can't be evenly adjusted, recommends sending back. Oh well.
