LarryUK
But it's just a gold top with a higher price. What's the difference? Plug it in and it'll sound the same as a Traditional gold top. It's $2400 more than a VOS 57 gold top. For what? I do find these things insulting and patronising. Plus it comes from the same Custom shop. So the quality should be the same. If you shopped around you could buy the VOS 57 and a Classic Custom for the same money. I know what I'd choose.

Mostly yes.. it was these features I was wondering about.... •One-piece Mahogany back and two-piece Maple top with 7 degree cutaway contour on top •Player's cut heal contour for easy access to higher fret positions •Big Block™ pickup cavity design® for extra resonance and tonal depth •CTS potentiometers with 1960’s ceramic capacitors
vincentw
Never heard of the guy. Unless you live in Nashville, you probably haven't heard of him. Good player, always enjoyed his live performances.
