It looks very interesting and if it plays, sounds and feels like the Elitist's of old it should be a wonderful guitar. Any news of it? I ask because I am curious, I am too broke to buy one!! bobouz Posted April 15, 2012 Share Posted April 15, 2012 you can get a Gibson ES-339 for the same price I do agree that there are probably better values out there, but the 339 is a whole different ballgame compared to a Casino. A more direct comparison would be the Elitist Casino for substantially less, or the ES-330L (while they last) for just a little bit more - either of which seems more desirable, imho. I thought it was a semi-hollow with the neck joining the body higher up allowing for easier access akin to the Gibson 330. I guess that really is a hard sell with the Casino and 330 in the ballpark.
