Cruznolfart
"Waukesha - Artist Tom Noll was putting the finishing touches on a 10-foot-tall guitar sculpture last week, a brightly painted montage of a dozen rock and blues musicians, each playing a Gibson Les Paul.Noll's work is one of 30 big and small guitars that are the artistic centerpieces of a charitable fundraising effort called the Waukesha GuitarTown Project, in the place where guitar and musical innovator Les Paul was born and is buried." pfox14
WOW! Pretty cool piece of artwork. Where is it going? Do they auction it off?
T Bone
Very cool! Were the artists supplied the Les Paul "canvas" to work with, and if so, what is their origin? ETA: Well, the article does give many details. Very cool indeed, looks like the 10 large ones will be installed somewhere on exhibit, while of the 20 regular sized guitars, at least 5 will be auctioned off (guessing the other 15 may be too, doesn't really say that I could find).
