DeepDrummer
I Loved my Epiphone EJ200CE. What a perfect guitar. Sold for lack of money but sorely missed every single day.
Texasbluezman
No regrets! Even though I just got me a Gibby, I still play my Epi. Will be taking the Epi out tonight to an open jam, because the straplocks and new strings haven't come in yet for the Gibby.
vexorgtr
Epi 57 Flying V.... other than needing to replace the tuners, it sounded and played just fine... Sold it eventually when I didn't want a V anymore. Epi Vintage G400... not bad.. Sounded ok, played well..... Sold it.... can't remember why. (I have a Gibson Robot SG Now)... but I sold the Epi and was SGless for 3-4 years. Epi Casino.... like it.. still have it. They are a decent value overall. The Epi tube amp line had some real winners... I have the BC30 and VScombo.
damian
Epiphones are all premium quality guitars that are way beyond the quality of other brands in their price range. The fit and finish and attention to detail as well as the tone are sll superb. This is it..........This statement is how I'd put it as well............. [thumbup] ..........

batwing
The only regret I've had was buying the first re-issue of the Wilshire. Big disappointment, humbuckers sounded like mud, sold it 2 weeks later. All of the semi acoustics I've owned have been great.

Asymmetrical neck, hand set glued neck joint, Grover locking tuners, carved maple cap, binding on the body and neck, coil tapping, Gibby USA Classic 57/Classic 57+ pickups, non chambered body, hard shell case. I regret that I didn't buy TWO of them.

alfunkz
Hey folks, wondering, have any of you been disappointed with your Epiphone purchase? I have NEVER been a fan of Epiphone because I believe you do not get what you pay for when you buy a Gibson. As such, I have avoided Epiphone thinking if I was not impressed with Gibson it could only go downhill with the Epiphone. Thoughts anyone? well thats a good way to upset a world of people (literally) i have had my firebird 2 days and i reckon she is a keeper she plays well and sounds awesome, i am also a squier owner and theres a very similar trolling thread on the fender forum, where i defended squiers to the hilt with a number of other members. sure your gonna get the odd bad apple, but my epi is built very well, with good quality wood, and components, if you were to change the pickups to the same as the gibson i am sure a blind man would not be able to tell the difference. Seriously, dont knock it 'til you tried it

KNuw
I don't regret buying my Wildkat at all...my first of many Epi's to come. Still not sure why you would come to an Epi forum and ask people who love their guitars if they regret buyin them...
Erik0913
Epiphone guitars are well made high quality instruments. I just purchased a 1961 SG 50th anniv LTD model and just love it. overall fit and finish is better than any Gibson I have purchased and the P-90s sound great. My very first guitar was an Epiphone ET-270 still have it. HAve no worries about an epiphone purchase. Actually Gibson should stand back and take note what Epiphone is doing and learn. Roosto7
Look, man, I'd love to have a Gibson L5 CES, but I'm not in the league to buy one. So, the Broadway it is.
Kodak Ghost
No regrets... they are great guitars BUT Just bought a new ES 339 pro, and the new models DO NOT have the push/pull coil tapping feature! ... a major reason that I bought it. So who thought that was a bright idea? They push the price up ( quite considerably) and remove a key feature!
steve@steveharr
I have a shedload of Gibson and a shedload of Epis. No regrets. See my post about the 88 Sheraton, better than the Gibson 335 (Guitarist magazine)
