olivertone
I just saw PULP at Radio City Music Hall and Jarvis Cocker was playing a guitar that looked like a Casino, but was definitely a custom job. It was beautiful. Here's a pic. Any idea who makes it?
Jayyj
To me it looks like a 70s Japanese guitar, although the headstock is unfamiliar. I had a quick look on Google and couldn't find any better photos than the one you posted, although the other guitars he's shown with are definately in the old and quirky camp. How were they, anyway? I saw Pulp many times in the 90s but haven't had a chance to catch the reunion as yet.

Maybe it's a 70s Japanese guitar, but if it is, I think it's a fancy, well-made Japanese guitar (akin to a Yamaha SG2000), coz it didn't look like a cheap, crappy guitar. PULP was superb. I saw them in 1998 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and last week's show was just as incredible (although I would have preferred Richard Hawley on 2nd guitar, instead of the man with the broken right hand). Notes_Norton
Can't be a custom Casino without P90s IMHO - but it is a beautiful guitar.
