jaav
So I've broken my SG's case lock. Can it somehow be replaced? And where can I get one? Because it's completely ruined and I don't think there's much that can be done about it. Help me please :( Here's a pic of how bad it is.
Aster1
I did a search and couldn't turn anything on the combination style. If I were having to track down I'd make contact with the case manuf. and explain the problem. See if they can sell you one to drill out and replace. Look on some of the case Manuf. websites to see who has a tumbler lock like yours. SKB or TKL even Gator may be possibles. Doesn't TKL make the Gibson cases? Also you could try a call or email to these guys: Premier Guitars Aster
Aster1
Found it Combo Lock Hope that helps. Look at their split rivets as well as you'll need those. Me too for a cheap made Epi case on the Casino 60th aniv. Aster
L5Larry
This case is made by TKL, but the locks and latches are bought from supplier. I have seen these locks surface on e-bay from time to time. As guitar cases are nothing but odd shaped luggage, a luggage repair shop (and some shoe repair places) would be able to "source" this part for you.
