nikko18
im thinking about getting locking tuners for my LP, these cool planet wave ones that also cut off the excess string. do any of you guys have locking tuners? do they work good? Custom....
first of all that english is horrible. "work well not good". anyways ya locking tuners work great but they are usualy used for guitars with tremolo bars because they go out of tune alot. in my opinion they are a waste of money but hey would improve your tuning a bit. and if you wanna get a pair go for GROVERS. ant7629
Nikko, the locking tuners that came with my LP 2008 work great. Sure, they will slip out a fraction after a lot of bending but I think that is more due to the strings stretching. Highly recommended.

Thundergod
Hey man... if you are using a bigsby you should consider a couple of things: - nut (a graphite nut will serve you better) - tuners (I preffer sperzel locking tuners to grovers but that's just me) - bridge (get a roller bridge) In other words, every part of the guitar that will be in contact with the strings should be upgraded to something that will give you the less friction posible.
