TommyK
Last spring, after watching a Country Music Award show i mentioned a red Super Jumbo, but couldn't remember who had it. Last night's CMAs revealed it again to me. Here it is on the hands of Dave Haywood of Lady Antebellum: http://ladyantebellum.musiccitynetworks.com/ It is kindy purty. ksdaddy
There was a trtansparent purple J200 on ebay a couple years back. It had a big kabong on the lower edge and still went for four figures. There was some Gibson purple paint on ebay a few weeks back, I should have bought some. ksdaddy
She's a lot better looking than the last time I saw her! Didn't she used to be a brunette and kinda skanky? Now she's a blonde and kinda skanky but in a good way!

TommyK
I love it. I want one. The Epi Casino in the video is really really cool! The Casino has made a re-appearance in Country Music in the past few years. A couple years ago, I heard some new, young buck pickin' a song on the radio and I thought to myself, "That has a Beatles sound to it." Low and behold, I read in a guit tar magazine (complete with pictures) that same week, I forget who it is, this young buck was using a blonde Casino. He said he was lookin' for a different sound and settled on the Epiphone of Beatles fame. Looks like the Epi is catchin' on agin. I'm glad too. My FIL went to some Branson show and bought the DVD of the show. All night long they played great new stuff and old stuff. The last number was lead by the guy who did all the jokin' around and dressed as a goof in the early part of the show. This number though, he traded his 'clown' outfit for jeans and a western shirt with slash pockets.. old style.. and a trans blue Gibson ES335. Oh My Ever Lovin' God.... I was back in the 60's agin! zombywoof
Gotta say that was not near as bad as the picture I conjured up in my head. Maybe I am just too old school though - there is just no beating the Gibson burst.
